Transporting people across the globe takes power. According to a December 2019 report from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the International Transport Forum (ITF), the travel industry accounts for over 5% of carbon emissions globally. We proactively search for ways to offset this impact and responsibly reduce our own carbon footprint.
To address this, Enigma Marketing and Travel Solutions has procured heavily wooded acreage in Southern Indiana. Our Carbon Farm is pending final approval to be designated as a protected forest by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The “Enigma Forest” is home to approximately ten thousand trees, which absorb almost half a million pounds of carbon emissions each year. This allows us to offset two hundred thirty-five tons of carbon emissions! We take great pride in doing our part to maintain the health and vitality of our planet and continually pursue opportunities to make an even more substantial impact in the future.
